Current back story UPDATE
She was born to a Japanese mother and Scottish father. At the age of 8 they disappeared leaving her with her Grandmother and older Brother.
Her older brother to keep her safe became a police officer, so he could watch her as well bring some kind of income for his family. Tragically when Karako was 13 her brother was gunned down in front of her after he tried to stop a thug from robbing the store owner in front of a Family Mart.
She was never the same becoming more distant seeing as how it was her fault her and her brother had to go the store since she wanted a candy bar. after transferring schools again,She became street wise getting into fights at school she eventually met Katio silvers being the first friend she ever had other than her brother she became very protective not wanting to lose something dear to her again, she would break up fights, beat up bullies, and well get into to all kinds of trouble. Katio being the only one to see her smile or nice side.
At the age of 17 she was dared to read an e-mail that apparently was haunted, a simple urban myth that was spreading like wildfire in her school, Katio was against her reading hearing that people went missing or were found dead after reading...She didn't listen.

After searching the net she obtained the mysterious e-mail. Upon reading the e-mail. It turned her into a virus she followed rin without question killing anyone who got in her way. Utterly consumed by madness very few viruses would approach only the virus Emilia would dare be in her presence. Her own Insanity would be her own demise as during a mission labeled "CORRUPTION" she and Emilia set out to ambush and kill Takeshi, Loli Mcglynn, and Katio silvers. Upon seeing Katio part of her would hesitate recognizing her former friend. However the Virus fought her causing her to go beserk attacking everyone around her including Emilia,
Takeshi seeing the only way to defeat Karako went into Insanity mode after some time Takeshi severed her left arm revealing her branch of sin which she had only used a few times. After a quick barrage of attacks her left leg followed her arm soon the virus went into to overdrive, leading to her defeat. But as she was dying her virus side peered into the depths of her mind where she confronted by the original Karako who despite what she did offered help to the virus saying that the virus just wanted an identity of it's own.

Accepting her human half they forced the pure maddness into the depths of their mind. And thus Shura Gasai the Hydra virus was born.
Shura being able to think for herself was able to fight back Takeshi.
When the battle ended the viruses had disappeared leaving an injured Takeshi, an Infected Loli, and a confused Katio.
Shura awoke in Myorens temple with an unconscious Emilia.
Myoren the owner of the temple offered a place to stay and even offered to help Shura despite accepting Karako it would be some time before her Left claw would go away or even get Karako to re-awaken as her mind was in shambles not to mention she had gained yet another problem Warui Ringo her Corrupted form.
After some time it was after she met Yomi that Karako re-surfaced being kind and almost motherly to the young virus child.
and that brings us to now. one year later.

Trivia time for Karako:
Her first name is a reference to Karako Koshio from Deadman wonderland while her last name is a reference to Yuno Gasai from mirai nikki.
Her favorite food is Sweet potato fries dipped in cinnamon.
She is seen with 3 different shirts
Her Flandre scarlet shirt, Her White dress and her combat attire she currently wears.
She is shorter that Shura or Warui
Normally in Japan, the wife would change her name, but occasionally the husband takes the wife's name if she is of higher social status, especially if she has no brothers to carry on the family name. <which is she has a Japanese last name.
